About the system
The battery simulator and battery test system works in two modes. In simulator mode it behaves like a traction battery: it supplies constant voltage while the motor controller is motoring, returns energy to the DC bus or grid during regeneration, and emulates battery output under different conditions following a user-defined internal resistance curve. In tester mode it measures charge/discharge performance, capacity, internal resistance, temperature rise and cycle life of cells, modules or packs.
