About the system

The brake fatigue and torsional strength bench tests brake housings, calipers, brackets, drums and parking brake components for fatigue and fracture strength by repeatedly applying braking torque. It runs with air or hydraulic pressure for light vehicles through heavy trucks, and dual-station versions test alternately. Temperature and noise measurement are optional.

Technical scope

  • Torque up to 60 000 Nm
  • Air 0–1.4 MPa / hydraulic 0–35 MPa
  • 1–1200 cycles/h
  • 1–2 stations
  • Parking brake option

Test functions and capabilities

  • Torsional fatigue and static strength
  • Constant pressure or constant torque control
  • Dual-station alternating test incl. parking brake
  • Temperature −40…1000 °C and 0–150 dB noise measurement (option)
  • Computer-controlled loading up to 5 Hz
