About the system

The air brake valve test bench performs sealing, static characteristic and response-time tests on commercial vehicle and trailer brake valves: foot (master), relay, hand, trailer control, 4-circuit protection, air dryer, ABS and levelling valves. Configurations range from dual-station in-line production benches to comprehensive laboratory benches with force, stroke, torque and angle drives. With 10 input / 6 output pressure channels and 1 ms response measurement, valve behaviour is recorded in detail.

Technical scope

  • 0–1.6 MPa
  • Drive force up to 50 kN
  • 10 inputs/6 outputs
  • 1 ms response
  • Master, relay, hand, trailer, 4-circuit, dryer, ABS valves

Test functions and capabilities

  • Sealing (leak ≤10 kPa/h)
  • Static characteristic: input force/stroke vs. output pressure
  • Response and release time (1 ms resolution)
  • Spring brake chamber, brake pump and clutch booster tests
  • Air dryer regeneration and sealing test
  • Hot/cold durability (3 stations)
