About the system
The spindle-coupled road simulator connects directly to the wheel spindles instead of the tires and applies forces and moments in 6 degrees of freedom at each corner. Since vertical, longitudinal and lateral forces as well as brake and camber moments are produced together, body and suspension durability is tested as close as possible to real road loads.
Technical scope
- 6-DOF per spindle
- 6–24 channels
- Up to 50 Hz
Test functions and capabilities
- 6 DOF per corner
- Iterative road-load reproduction
- Body and suspension durability
- 6 / 12 / 24 channels
Configurations and technical data
