About the system
The tire-coupled road simulator places the vehicle on servo-hydraulic actuators under its wheels (4 or 6 posts) and reproduces measured road data in the laboratory. Durability, ride comfort, BSR (buzz-squeak-rattle) and NVH tests can also run inside a climatic chamber. With 2, 3 and 6-axle configurations it tests vehicles from 2.5 t passenger cars to 30 t heavy trucks, with multi-level protection for operator and specimen safety.
